Horse & Bear Holiday Card
Horse & Bear star in their own holiday card. I hoped that music would bring them closer together but alas...

Where seldom is herd
What could be better than this? Well, if you don't like cows and wheat scares you, then I guess you could think of at least 12 things you would rather be doing than rounding up cattle. These were taken during a ranch trip to Montana and then I messed around with them in photoshop. The days can be full of hard work, but it's soooo rewarding. It's difficult to explain, but when a wrangler says move those 50 cows from here to there, and you do, nothing beats it. Once done, my internal dialogue is something like this:
'hey, I made them go over there, and look, there they all are. I rock.'
Written down, it doesn't seem all that exciting, but believe me, it freakin is. The key must be the cows - rounding up burrowing animals wouldn't be anywhere near as satisfying.

Howdy
Howdy, and welcome.
How the heck do you start one of these things? Do I rack my brain for some witty opening, or post a link to a video clip of a cat sliding off of a TV? Well, at the moment I don't have either, so you will have to do with this:

Yep - it's a rabbit..head..blobby ... McRabbit Blob Head Thingie. I started this doodle and thousands of variations of it years ago and it consistently pops up on all sorts of things. Post it notes, phone messages, edges of phone books, production schedules, legal contracts (oops). Sort of a 'doodle-itis' syndrome that I have had since I was little.
I'm sure the mortgage company appreciates the creativity with their payment stubs.
